Johanna Stadtmauer, MS, CCC-SLP, TSSLD

Johanna Stadtmauer, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD received her bachelor's and master's degrees from New York University in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in New York and New Jersey. Johanna holds a New York State TSSLD license (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) as well as a New Jersey Speech Language Specialist Standard Certificate. She is fluent in English, French, and Hebrew. Johanna prides herself on providing culturally and linguistically responsive services to her clients from various backgrounds.

Johanna’s past clinical experience includes working in hospital, school, home care, and clinic settings. Prior to launching Ready Stadt Speech, Johanna worked in District 75 of the New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE). During her time at the NYC DOE, Johanna gained vast experience working with students in Pre-K-Grade 5 with speech and language impairments, autism, learning disabilities, and emotional disturbance. Prior to becoming an SLP, Johanna worked at an Upper East Side school as an early childhood assistant teacher. Johanna’s past experience has cultivated one of her areas of expertise and biggest passions in the field—the early childhood population.

Johanna's passions and specialty areas include working in early intervention and helping families navigate the different things that may come about in this critical period (e.g., motor planning difficulties, picky eating, developmental delays, need for AAC, and more!). Johanna also treats language and literacy-based difficulties in emergent readers and early elementary school-aged children. A mom of two, Johanna loves providing families with practical tips that are easy and efficient in interacting with their children and supporting their speech, language, literacy, and feeding development. In addition to seeing private clients and sharing tips on social media, Johanna offers 1:1 caregiver coaching sessions personalized for each client, available virtual as well!

In her spare time, Johanna loves planning fun activities and experiences for her family and friends. You will see Johanna talk a lot about self-care (e.g., can someone say ice cream with dancing with the stars replay?) and she tries to keep it real for busy SLPs and parents! Johanna enjoys volunteering and being an active member of her local community. Johanna loves to cook new recipes, travel, listen to music, and dance!
